Waving Goodbye to Summer with Onigiri

Time to cache the sunlight, pity it doesn’t warm rice balls effectively. Lunch is seafood green curry, pickled radish ‘chrysanthemums’, cucumber, runner beans with ginger & ponzu and tomato served with onigiri (kombu tsukudani, bacon and anchovy with spring onion & ginger)

Lunch Log: Week 84 Day 3

Big batches of mince are handily transformed into various foodstuffs, in this case: croquettes. Lunch is beef croquettes, steamed sugar snap peas, steamed carrots dressed in ponzu & basil, pickled radish, pickled cucumber and tomato, with kombu no tsukudani for the rice

Back to work but it’s a mercifully short week. Chilli beef onigiri with tomato, garlic & basil runner beans, kombu no tsukudani, fried prawns, pickled cucumber, pickled ‘flower’ radish and a rare item: dessert of matcha & ginger sponge cake.
