Lunch Log: Week 165

Ah, it’s that time of year when the sky looks much nicer than the outdoor temperatures, but it does seem like things are slowly warming up. A decent selection this time, naturally I should probably attempt to do more vegetarian or vegan lunches.

April 4

Lunchbox overflow is no bento, it’s probably 2 meals! Noodles, prawns, soft boiled egg, chilli threads, okra, spinach, nori, spring onion, chicken stock concentrate (home made) with gochujang and soy – the only ‘Instant’ part is the sachet chili oil. Ramen o’clock == ramensplode

April 5

Whoa, who turned on the lights? If it were warmer I might of had to eat this outside. Lunch is a tomato, orange carrots, chicken karaage, okra, green bean kimpira and onigiri (hijiki with yukari and sesame and umeboshi with tororo kombu)

April 6

After a late night plying strong beer into enthusiastic paying customers it’s good to have a fast lunch to prepare. Lunch is linguine with basil and spinach, grilled tomatoes, Mediterranean roast veggies and olives. Going vegan or veggie might not be so bad with a dish like this but I’ll need more recipes than one dish

April 7

It’s vegan… Wuuuuut. Lunch is tomato, okra, ganmadoki, green beans kimpira, Mediterranean style veggies and an umeboshi

Oh yeah, mustard!
