Lunch Log: Week 80 Day 2
Instead of stocking up on lunch items it seems like most went into Yvan’s lunch; hopefully he remembers to eat his! Lunch is miso & ponzu salmon, edamae in their pods, ganmadoki, tomato, nori tamagoyaki, ponzu seasoned runner beans and kombu tsukudani

When dinner gives you hamburgers, you reserve some mince to make mini ones for the next day. Lunch is takuan, tomatoes, mini feta meat balls, cooked baby beet slices, garlic baby carrots, steamed broccoli and garlic & sesame kale

The easiest way to make veggies tasty: deep frying. Lunch is takuan, broccoli & spring onion pakora sprinkled with aonori, lamb ragù, kale & mushroom curry, vine wrapped kale/eggplant/feta and tomato

I think I’m going native: the weather is dismal. At least my stomach is sated. Lunch is lamb ragù, eggplant/kale/feta stuffed vine leaf, garlic baby carrots, steamed kale stems with spicy seasoning, tomato and takuan.

Omitting the garnish on the rice would make this vegan. Lunch is: garlic miso konnyaku, carrot & capsicum kimpira, steamed broadbean, carrot croquette, tomato & sorrel relish, takuan and soy eggplant. Thanks to the awesome dudes in my team I did’t miss out on Warm Your Cockles cold-brewed ice coffee – woo!

Hopefully this lunch would boost recovery; nothing beats sushi. Lunch is teriyaki konnyaku, tomatoes, broad beans, kale namul with inari sushi, rainbow maki (benishoga, carrot, takuan, sorrel & spring onion, soy eggplant) and crabstick makuzushi

Urf, tiring week; belated post and sad cold rice.. Lunch was: kale namul, boiled egg, tomatoes, meat balls and miso eggplant. I want a week off from the week off that I did ‘other work’ in.. Bleeeh

A reward for putting up with sawdust and fresh paint in the house: temari sushi* with kale salad, broccoli, tomato, egg, meat balls and eggplant with feta & basil.

It’s sunny outside but I’m inside 🙁 Lunch is broccoli namul, pork belly gyoza, tomato, soy eggplant, steamed prawns, spinach namul, egg white and takuan.

I still have dumpling wrappers so to pad out the tasty pork belly I’ve made gyoza. Lunch is spinach namul, pork belly gyoza, mustard croquettes, tomato and broccoli with mustard dressing
