Lunch Log: Week 170

After fussing to get okra, suddenly I don’t have the motivation to make anything new… Oh well, beef mince (and leftovers) to the rescue!

Back again from a ‘working holiday’ and back to rice and miserable weather. Good thing there were leftovers… Lunch is BBQ lamb chops, pickled radishes, potato omelette, garlic purple sprouting broccoli, tomato, grilled okra and umeboshi

An unusual selection today. Lunch is beef sausage with tomato, pickled radishes, okra, tomato, steamed broad beans and garlic purple sprouting broccoli

One of these things shouldn’t be eaten with chopsticks, but with the extra trouble doing so I hope I take my time enjoying it. In doing so avoiding a cheese toastie dessert. Lunch is spring onion purple sprouting broccoli, pickled radishes, tomato, mabo tofu and spinach namul

Friday the 13th horror: waking up without any lunch made. After a furious 30 minutes, this was the result. Lunch is linguine with roasted mixed capsicum, olives and a beef ragu. All bowled up the ragu has less tomato than my usual bolognese which is traditional, but still unconventional especially with the capsicum. Good thing I don’t know many Italians close by
