By simply steaming in the microwave for a short time, you can easily add a splash of green that has some stable proteins that aren’t cooked off. A normal toothpick can can hold up to 7-8 beans with a little holding space – convenient for dirty hands.
You can use more fancy skewers or decorate your own. Or in this case, the decoration is also edible (just be careful with the knife!)
To add a little more interest, why not alternate with other small items like capers to add some flavour? This instance contains both capers and runner beans for more colour.
