I think I’m going native: the weather is dismal. At least my stomach is sated. Lunch is lamb ragù, eggplant/kale/feta stuffed vine leaf, garlic baby carrots, steamed kale stems with spicy seasoning, tomato and takuan.

With temperatures set to soar it’s best to go for something cool. Mixed sushi with tomatoes, carrot croquettes, miso simmered veggies & konnyaku, soy eggplant and sausage slices. The sushi selection was: smoked salmon inside out roll inari crabstick inside out roll

Lunch Log: Week 78 Day 3

Omitting the garnish on the rice would make this vegan. Lunch is: garlic miso konnyaku, carrot & capsicum kimpira, steamed broadbean, carrot croquette, tomato & sorrel relish, takuan and soy eggplant. Thanks to the awesome dudes in my team I did’t miss out on Warm Your Cockles cold-brewed ice coffee – woo!

Now for something a little different, spaghetti: seafood pasta with salsa verde and tomato. The tomato sauce base was mostly absorbed by the eggplant and mussels. The great thing about leftovers is that all I needed to prepare was the salsa verde. The garnish is oregano flowers
