I’ve attempted to add more variety by planning out alternate days with the other easy shop favourite: beef mince. The routine is ok with 2 sets of lunches though spreading my concentration on both definitely is exhausting.
I should remember to break away from having a veggie pasta and bibimbap every week – I might as well set routine day for them at this rate of repetition!
March 7
It’s like opening the box and finding a rainbow. A delicious, edible rainbow; wooo it’s bibimbap day! Toppings are stir fried ginger cabbage, stir fried capsicum, Korean-style spicy beef, garlic carrots, steamed broccoli and an extremely soft-boiled egg
March 8
And this is what bulk cooking looks like. It’s still the same batch of roast veggies from last week, still tasting awesome. Linguine with rocket, basil, Mediterranean style roast veggies, pickled peppadew peppers, feta and olives. My week may be full of fail but my stomach is full of win
March 9
Not too shabby using old dried up sourdough for breadcrumbs: when served hot it adds a little more flavour. Lunch is eggplant dressed with soy and lemon, tomato, bulgogi seasoned korokke with gochujang sauce, steamed broccoli, ginger stir fried carrot and spinach namul
March 10
It’s curry for all, OK just me, Yvan and another dude; but I’ve made 2 out of 3 of those lunches. My lunch is stir fried green capsicum, steamed broccoli with line and coriander yogurt, South Asian style chicken curry and ensaladang talong.
March 11
Woo it’s Friday, where I’ve ran out off fucks to give and have an awesome spread for lunch – 8 sides is pretty good number! Lunch is smokey eggplant with soy, spring onion and lemon, steamed broccoli, tamagoyaki, tomato, Korean fried chicken, steamed broad beans, spinach goma-ae and an umeboshi.
Diet food this is not.
