This lunch is twinned with Yvan’s ‘boiled eggs and bacon’ lunch. Again, after constructing a fiddly sushi roll I went for the simple route again. Note that some of the sides are shared – ah the joys of a prepared larder. Again, my lunch is almost vegetarian if not for the meaty lumpia I do like so much..
Top tier contents: salad greens with pickled radish, rice with umeboshi.
Bottom tier contents: lumpia, ginger eggplant, rocket and sorrel, leaf beet gomae.
