I didn’t quite plan well in advance for this lunch – and Yvan’s doesn’t look too much different from this too. One thing I do know is there are some things we need to use, and so they are fodder when I’m out of ideas and am in the mood for makizushi.
Top tier contents: makizushi (crabstick, orange capsicum, sorrel, pickled chilli, sesame seeds, spring onion, mayonnaise).
Bottom tier contents: sweet-stem broccoli gomae, nori and spring onion tamagoyaki, mini tomato.
As with too much of a good thing, my old habit of putting in too much rice for Yvan seems to be returning. Though I tried to offset this with tomato it looks like I over-did that too! Oops! Looks like my notes are starting to clutter his desk..
*Note: Don’t do that with chopsticks, or at least don’t make it *look* like they are chopsticks stuck upright on you food (you know, ‘cos it’s rude)
