There have been complaints that the freezer is too full, so it’s time to get rid of some of the stash items. My last batch of spring rolls included some vegetarian ones that were inspired by Yaël’s spanakopita which made an interesting change from the normal expected flavours. I have mixed feelings about this happening too often: frying so many for personal consumption surely isn’t too healthy, but damn I love ’em!
Top tier: lumpia, spanakopita ‘springrolls’, sorrel.
Bottom tier: sushi rice mixed with carrot and black sesame, sorrel, broccoli, radish, pickled chilli, tomato sauce.
